What’s the point of having a life?

What’s the point of doing something of ourselves… if we can vanish at any moment?

What’s the point of living… if we don’t find out the reason… the reason for such suffering, for such uncertainty, for such conflicts inside us, for such trouble… just to live?

And is it really worth it so much life lived… spent… trying to be something we don’t even know if someday we’ll truly be?

Is it worth it knowing someone… if that person doesn’t remain close to us long enough… long enough for life to be worth it?

Is it worth it loving someone… if it isn’t timeless that love… if that love isn’t there for our entire life?

What’s the point of living, what’s the point of loving… if it’s not for eternity?

If life is a passage… why doesn’t it pass by the plenitude of happiness… of pure and eternal happiness?




De que vale termos uma vida?

De que vale fazermos algo de nós... se podemos desvanecermos a qualquer momento?

De que vale viver... se não descobrirmos a razão... a razão de tanto sofrimento, de tanta confusão, de tantos distúrbios dentro de nós, de tanto trabalho... apenas para viver?

E valerá realmente a pena tanta vida vivida... gasta... a tentar sermos algo que nem sabemos se algum dia seremos verdadeiramente?

Valerá conhecer alguém... se essa pessoa não permanecer junto de nós tempo suficiente... tempo suficiente para que a vida valha a pena?

Valerá amar alguém... se não for eterno esse amor... se esse amor não estiver presente durante toda a nossa vida?

De que vale viver, de que vale amar... se não for eternamente?

Se a vida é uma passagem... porque não passa ela pela plenitude da felicidade... da felicidade pura e eterna?
